Principal Investigator
Thierry Rodon is a full professor in the Department of Political Science at Université Laval and has held the Research Chair in Northern Sustainable Development since 2011. He also serves as co-director of the social sciences division at the Institut nordique du Québec (INQ). His research focuses on northern policies and community development, with extensive experience collaborating with Indigenous communities and northern institutions. His areas of expertise include:
- Social and economic impacts of development projects
- Renewable resource management
- Community participation in environmental assessment processes
